Welcome! I’m Dr. R. Randon Guerpo, a passionate and dedicated professional in the realm of health and movement. My journey began with a solid educational foundation—a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from La Sierra University, followed by the pursuit of excellence with a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Loma Linda University. My commitment to enhancing well-being extends beyond traditional practices; I am Pilates Trained, bringing a unique perspective to my approach.

Randon trained in a variety of clinical settings including various Orthopedic Outpatient, environments including gym and pilates studio and home health care. He is a Pilates instructor trained and is currently working on refining and certifying as a Pilates instructor to help people move their best.

As a marathoner, with a passion for sports and striving to be a recreational golfer, he has an affinity for working with athletes and active-adults, helping them in their various sports. Randon’s doctoral studies emphasized the importance of manual therapy, in conjunction with specific exercise, to maximize the benefits of therapeutic techniques to improve function, pain, and performance.

Professional Journey

My professional journey has taken me across diverse landscapes, culminating in my licensure in the beautiful State of Hawaii. The vibrant environment here resonates with my holistic philosophy towards health. A pivotal aspect of my practice is rooted in Functional movement based rehabilitation.

Pilates: A Holistic Movement Approach

Pilates captured my attention due to its profound understanding and holistic approach to movement. It’s more than just exercise; it’s a comprehensive system that integrates all body systems. My personal experience with Pilates has been transformative—it significantly improved my own movement, aiding in recovery from injuries as well as enhancing performance in other areas of activity especially golf. It has not only helped me move better but has become an integral part of my strategy for maintaining functional movement patterns. My journey with Pilates has been a powerful tool, not just for my own recovery but also in assisting others in eliminating and preventing injuries from recurring.
